Grade Introduction:
We are EN353 Alloy Steel Round Bar manufacturers and we are manufacturing from prime quality billets and blooms. The range of EN353 Round Bars which we manufacture for our customers are of high quality and these round bars are used for making machinery and Auto components. These products have been made keeping in mind the quality parameters that have been set by the industry in the market. EN353 Round Bars are always supplied with the test certificates and can be supplied in bulk quantity as well as retail quantity as per customer’s requirements. EN353 alloy Steel round bars are supplied by us to various industries.
EN353 Alloy steel is a very high strength steel alloy that is hardened and tempered before supplying and has nickel, chromium, molybdenum making its high tensile steel strength, with good ductility and wear resistance. With relatively good impact properties at low temperatures, EN353 is also suitable for a variety of elevated temperature applications. EN353 round bars have good internal strength and high external strength, which makes them highly wear-resistant. EN353 steel round bars offer a good combination of ductility, strength, and wear resistance. EN353 is a very high-strength alloy engineering steel.

Heat treatment:
The hardening treatment for most steels consists of heating the steel to a set temperature and then cooling it rapidly by plunging it into oil, water. EN8 and EN353 steel is an easily available and cheap material that is acceptable for heavy-duty applications.
Hardening:
Hardening °C 780-820.
Tempering:
EN353 is re-heated to 780C – 820°C, holding until the temperature is uniform throughout the section, and then quenched in oil, Tempering must be done immediately while the component EN353 is still handed warm. Heat to 150C – 200°c, soak it for 1 – 2 hours / 25mm of a section, and then cooled in still air. Hardness after Tempering: 62-64 HRC.
