Mild Steel(MS)
Bright steel bar is usually a carbon steel alloy which has had the surface condition improved by drawing, peeling or grinding over the hot rolled finish supplied by the steel mill. Advantages achieved include improved machining, less wastage at component production stage, enhancement of physical and mechanical properties and improved dimensional tolerances and straightness.
General purpose steel bars for machining, suitable for lightly stressed components including studs, bolts, gears and shafts. Often specified where weld ability is a requirement. Can be case-hardened to improve wear resistance. Available in bright rounds, squares and flats, and hot rolled rounds. Can be supplied in sawn blanks, and bespoke size blocks.
Advantages of using bright finished mild steel bars
Black mild steel is produced by a hot rolling process, and may have a scaly, rough surface. It is not precise in its dimensions, straightness or flatness.Suitable machining allowances should therefore be added when ordering. It does not contain any additions for enhancing mechanical or machining properties.
Bright drawn mild steel is an improved quality material, free of scale, and has been cold worked (drawn or rolled) to size. It is produced to close dimensional tolerances. Straightness and flatness are better than black steel. It is more suitable for repetition precision machining.Bright drawn steel has more consistent hardness, and increased tensile strength.Bright steel can also be obtained in precision turned or ground form if desired.
EN3B (070M20)
EN3B is a general engineering steel which is suitable in applications where heavy stresses and heat treatment are not involved. It is a bright drawn / turned mild steel with good mach-inability but poor harden ability, and is used in a variety of general engineering applications. EN3B can be case hardened and is normally used in the supplied condition. The material promotes good weld ability characteristics.
Typical Applications:
Shafts & rollers
Machinery parts
Threaded bars
Spindles & axles
Low stress engineering applications.

IS2062
IS2062 is a product standard of Bureau of Indian Standards. It specifies standards for Hot Rolled Medium and High Tensile Structural Steel. IS 2062 steels are mainly used for structural purpose. We manufacture Round Bars conforming to IS2062 Grade E250A from sizes 20mm to 80mm. Since they are low carbon steel bars they offer good form ability, weld ability and mach inability.

Carbon steel A105 round bars that are being sourced by using superior quality of raw material. These carbon steel A105 rods ensure to offer toughness of highest quality of industry standard products. CS A[105 is very much acceptable in several industries because of its greater potency and strength. Our A105 bars find application in chemical, power and engineering industries.
Designed by means of having an aid of our engineering superiority, these A105 rods are widely used for an ideal finish, easy installation long-lasting performance, and resistance to corrosion. Our carbon steel A105 bars are also extensively used in pumps petrochemicals, paper industries, chemicals, sugar mills & distilleries, fats & fertilisers, cement industries oil & natural gas organisation, ship builders, etc.
SAE/AISI 1006
Steels containing mainly carbon as the alloying element are called carbon steels. They contain about 0.4% silicon and 1.2% manganese. Chromium, nickel, aluminium, copper and molybdenum are also present in small quantities in the carbon steels. The features of AISI 1006 carbon steel are mainly softness and ductility. The following datasheet will provide more details about AISI 1006 carbon steel.
Applications
AISI 1006 carbon steel is primarily used in applications which require hard bending and welding such as panels for appliances or automobiles. AISI 1006 carbon steel can also be used in magnet core applications.
SAE/AISI 1008
Steels containing mostly carbon as the alloying element are called carbon steels. They contain about 1.2% manganese and 0.4% silicon. Nickel, aluminium, chromium, copper and molybdenum are also present in small quantities in the carbon steels.
AISI 1008 carbon steel has excellent weld ability, which includes projection, butt, spot and fusion, and braze ability. The following datasheet will provide more details about AISI 1008 carbon steel.
SAE/AISI 1010
AISI 1010 carbon steel is a plain carbon steel with 0.10% carbon content. This steel has relatively low strength but it can be quenched and tempered to increase strength. AISI 1010 carbon steel is primarily used for applications such as cold headed fasteners and bolts.
SAE/AISI 1018
AISI 1018 mild/low carbon steel has excellent weld ability and produces a uniform and harder case and it is considered as the best steel for carburized parts. AISI 1018 mild/low carbon steel offers a good balance of toughness, strength and ductility. Provided with higher mechanical properties, AISI 1018 hot rolled steel also includes improved machining characteristics and Brunel hardness.
Specific manufacturing controls are used for surface preparation, chemical composition, rolling and heating processes. All these processes develop a supreme quality product that are suited to fabrication processes such as welding, forging, drilling, machining, cold drawing and heat treating. It is widely used for fixtures, mounting plates and spacers. It is suitably used in applications that do not need high strength of alloy steels and high carbon.
It provides high surface hardness and a soft core to parts that include worms, dogs, pins, liners, machinery parts, special bolts, ratchets, chain pins, oil tool slips, tie rods, anchor pins, studs etc.It is used to improve drilling, machining, threading and punching processes. It is used to prevent cracking in severe bends.
20c8
This steel is an unalloyed low carbon grade. Components when carburized have a core strength range of 430-490N/mm² with a hard ware resistant surface case. It is a popular case hardening steel grade for general engineering, readily machine able and weldable in its supply condition. EN32 is a low tensile steel suited for lightly stressed components.
Applications:
Commonly used for general engineering lightly stressed applications that are subject to wear, EN32 is suitable for applications such as collects, cams, rollers, bushes, spindles, and gears.
